Is there going to be a third season of Alice in Borderland?
Alice in Borderland has been a fan favourite ever since it came out on Netflix in 2020. With the release of season 2 of Alice in Borderland, the story of a group of trapped survivors who were forced to play deadly games in exchange for their lives finally has a conclusion. Since both the first and second seasons were well received, it makes sense that Netflix is already hard at work on the third. But it’s important to note that no official statement has been made yet. On December 22, 2022, “Episode 8,” the last episode of the new season, aired. This was the last episode of the whole series.
What can we expect from the third season of Alice in Borderland?
Yoshiki Watabe, Yasuko Kuramitsu, and Shinsuke Sato wrote the script, and Shinsuke Satoy was in charge of the direction. Even though we’ve seen the end of the main characters’ nightmare, I have a bad feeling that the next season will be a huge letdown for them. When the joker card is shown at the end, it makes it more likely that they are not where they think they are. Like in the year 1899, it could be a simulation or a virtual reality experience. Keep in mind that the other main characters could also be led to believe that they were to blame for the deaths of their friends, just like Arisu was.
When Season 3 of Alice in Borderland is expected to come out
As of this writing, the network has not confirmed that the show exists or when it is expected to start. Based on what we’ve seen in other shows, we can guess that the possible release window will happen somewhere in 2024 if the show gets renewed in the next few weeks. Because between the first two seasons, there was a break of two years. So, it happens more often in the winter, and most often in the month of December.
