Britney Spears revealed to her 41.7 million Instagram followers that she has nerve damage in her right arm in a recent post.

The pop singer, who is now 40, opened out about her recent health issues in an Instagram post that also included another dance routine of hers.
While the discomfort and numbness have kept the Toxic hitmaker awake at night, she has found that dancing helps alleviate some of the symptoms.
She said that lack of oxygen to the brain could cause nerve damage. You have a total mental blackout… This is the same old, same old, dull story… I was unable to take a deep breath the entire time I was there… If nerves are injured, sensation may be lost in certain areas of the body.
Spears claims that she wakes up “with pins and needles” on the right side of her body “like three times a week in bed” because her hands are numb.
She described the pain as radiating from her temple on her head to her neck, adding, “It stings and it’s scary.” She said, “I’ve been in a light unconscious state for the past three years since I got out of that institution.” The thought of doing that terrified me.
Spears said that dancing is a way for her to forget about the pain, which may explain why she posts so many dance videos online. When I close my eyes and let my mind wander, I feel like I’m back in my childhood self.
According to her writing, “my faith in it gave me courage, even though I can’t move as swiftly as I once did.” By God’s grace, I found a treatment that helped me so much that I could stand up straight and see clearly. The oxygen had finally reached my brain and was escaping through my neck.
