The PS4 highlights presented in 2022

God of War 2: Ragnarok

That’s what it’s all about: Nothing has been announced about the content of God of War 2: Ragnarok so far. The sequel to the 2018 series reboot will continue the journey of Kratos and his son Atreus. Norse mythology is once again the inspiration for the setting.

Grand Touring 7

• Genre: racing game
• Platform: PS5, PS4

That’s what it’s all about: Gran Turismo 7 is the first game in the famous racing game series for Sony’s PS5. The title contains, among other things, an extensive career mode for solo players and various online ways. A photo option is also back on board. G.T. 7 was initially scheduled to be released in 2021 but was postponed to 2022 due to the effects of the corona pandemic.

Hogwarts Legacy

• Genre: RPG
• Plattform: PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC

That’s what it’s about: Hogwarts Legacy is a role-playing game that sends us as students into the famous school of witchcraft and wizardry.

There we’ll hone our magic skills and learn everything else a seasoned witch and wizard needs to know, plus – of course – uncover a dark mystery as the story progresses. All known information about Hogwarts Legacy can be found in our overview:

Gotham Knights

• Genre: Action
• Plattform: PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC

That’s what it’s all about: Batman Arkham is back… or not: because batman is supposedly no longer alive in the new game from Warner Bros. Games Montreal (responsible for Arkham Origins).

Instead, in Gotham Knights, we slip into the roles of Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl and Red Hood and protect Gotham City and hunt villains alone or in co-op.

Granblue Fantasy: ReLink

• Genre: Action-RPG
• Platforms: PS4, PS5

Here’s what it’s all about: Granblue Fantasy: ReLink is Platinum Games’ next big action RPG after Nier: Automata . The title is based on the Granblue Fantasy mobile game popular in Japan. However, the PS4 offshoot will travel to another “Sky Kingdom”, and previous knowledge is unnecessary.

According to game director Tetsuya Fukuhara, understanding that the story takes place “in the clouds” is enough. The action RPG can be played alone and supports co-op multiplayer with up to three friends who then take control of the other party members.

Grand Touring 7

That’s what it’s all about: Gran Turismo 7 is the first game in the famous racing game series for Sony’s PS5. The title contains, among other things, an extensive career mode for solo players and various online ways. A photo option is also back on board. G.T. 7 was initially scheduled to be released in 2021 but was postponed to 2022 due to the effects of the corona pandemic.

Hogwarts Legacy

Gotham Knights

That’s what it’s all about: Batman Arkham is back… or not: because batman is supposedly no longer alive in the new game from Warner Bros. Games Montreal (responsible for Arkham Origins).

Instead, in Gotham Knights, we slip into the roles of Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl and Red Hood and protect Gotham City and hunt villains alone or in co-op.

Granblue Fantasy: ReLink

Here’s what it’s all about: Granblue Fantasy: ReLink is Platinum Games’ next big action RPG after Nier: Automata. The title is based on the Granblue Fantasy mobile game popular in Japan. However, the PS4 offshoot will travel to another “Sky Kingdom”, and previous knowledge is unnecessary.

According to game director Tetsuya Fukuhara, understanding that the story takes place “in the clouds” is enough. The action RPG can be played alone and supports co-op multiplayer with up to three friends who then take control of the other party members.
